The ASUS RS520A-E12-RS24U Server is a 2U platform with up to 6TB of DDR5 memory when all 24x memory module slots are populated. It can accommodate a single 4th Generation AMD EPYC 9004 series processor with a maximum TDP of up to 400W, including those with AMD 3D V-Cache technology. In addition, this system supports up to 4x single-slot or 2x double-slot GPU cards, including the NVIDIA A100 and A40, plus AMD Instinct, and Xilinx options.
The RS520A-E12-RS24U offers up to 5x PCIe 5.0 slots with a 32GT/s bandwidth, which is twice the speed of PCIe 4.0. It also supports a lower power consumption, system upgrade, and backwards compatibility. The system features 1x OCP3.0 PCIe Gen5 x16 slot, 2x M.2 slots with a PCIe Gen5 x4 link for 22110 modules. Up to 24x drive bays are available on the front panel, which can be configured with SAS, SATA and U.2 or U.3 NVMe storage devices. The rear of the chassis also supports 2x 2.5” SAS3 hot-swap drive bays.

Depending on the system configuration, it can be equipped with either 1+1 redundant 1600W 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies, or 1+1 redundant 1600W/1200W 80 PLUS Platinum power supplies. Remote management is facilitated through the ASUS ASMB11-iKVM, utilizing the integrated ASPEED AST2600 module on the motherboard. This enables users to manage software updates, hardware, and other system components via the web-based ASUS Control Center. A license is required for access, allowing administrators to efficiently monitor workstations, servers, and other equipment from a centralized location.
