Offering 128 Zen 4c cores, a 12-channel memory architecture, the 1U ASUS RS700A-E12-RS4U Server is powered by dual 4th generation AMD EPYC 9004 processors. Each CPU supports memory speeds of up to 4800 MHz, with a maximum TDP of 400W. This server supports a single dual-slot GPU, including options such as the NVIDIA A100, NVIDIA A40, AMD Instinct, and Xilinx. The system includes 4x hot-swappable 3.5" drive bays that support NVMe, SATA, or SAS configurations. 2x M.2 slots on the motherboard can be used for additional storage expansion or to boot the system.
The RS700A-E12-RS4U server AMD CPUs processors are equipped with an Enhanced Volume Air Cooling (EVAC) heatsink ensuring efficient thermal management for high TDP operation. It supports up to 6TB of memory when all 24x memory slots are populated with 3DS RDIMMs. The server includes 1x OCP 3.0 module and up to 3x PCIe Gen5 slots offering 32 GT/s bandwidth, which is twice the speed of PCIe 4.0. For faster connectivity, the rear panel provides options for 2x 10Gbps or 4x 1Gbps on-board LAN modules. Additional network controllers can be installed using the OCP card slot or PCIe slots. To power the system, you can choose between 1+1 redundant 2000W/1600W 80 PLUS Platinum power supplies or 1+1 redundant 2600W/1600W 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies, based on your configuration.
The web-based ASUS Control Center allows users to manage hardware, software upgrades, and other system components. With the integrated ASPEED AST2600 module built into the motherboard, the ASUS ASMB11-iKVM also offers remote control of the system. Administrators can manage workstations, servers, and other equipment in one location, remotely, but a license is required.
