Gigabyte E164-S30 Server

The Gigabyte E164-S30 supports DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) or Multiplexor Combined Ranks DIMMs (MCR DIMMs). RDIMMs provide a maximum speed of up to 6400 MT/s, while MCRDIMMs can reach speeds of up to 8000 MT/s. It’s important to note, that MCRDIMMs are only supported with Intel Xeon 6 processors with P-Cores and in a 1x DIMM Per Channel (1DPC) configuration. In addition to the dual drive bays on the front of the server, there are 2x M.2 slots on the motherboard with a PCIe Gen5 x2 interface for 2280 and 22110 cards.

On the back of the chassis there are 2x FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and 2x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slots. This short-depth edge server also supports dual 800W 80+ Titanium redundant power supplies and a single 1Gb/s LAN port via Intel I210-AT. This system is managed by Gigabyte’s pre-installed software, Gigabyte Management Console. Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) provides for multiple server clusters and offers a more robust set of features. Ideally, the Gigabyte Management Console is deployed for a single server or small cluster. The GSM Mobile application is available through the App store for use with smartphones and tablets enabling administrators to easily monitor and control the network assets.
