Processors supported by the Gigabyte E263-Z34 Server are limited to a thermal design power rating of up to 400W with a single processor, or at 25 degrees Celsius, CPUs with a TDP of up to 500W. At the top TDP level, that includes processors with up to 192 cores from the 9005-series. With 4th generation AMD EPYC CPUs installed a top core count of up to 128 cores can be installed. There are 12x DDR5 RDIMM slots on the system board, and with the CPUs supporting 12-channel memory architecture, memory can run at maximum speed with 1x DIMM per Channel. The system is powered by dual redundant 2000W 80 PLUS Titanium PSUs.

2x full-height, full-length PCIe gen 5.0 x16 slots are available for support of up to 2x double-wide GPUs from a variety of different manufacturers. There are also 2x OCP 3.0 mezzanine card slots for network interface controllers (NICs). In addition, 1x PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 slots on the system board for an NVMe M.2 storage device can be used to support the OS. Gigabyte offers two management utilities; the Gigabyte Management Console for a single server of small cluster, and Gigabyte Server Manager (GSM) for large server clusters. GSM is available for download and complies with Redfish and IPMI standards, while the Gigabyte Server Console is preinstalled. GSM also supports a number of other utilities to help manage your network including; GSM mobile, GSM CLI and a GSM Plugin allowing users real-time monitoring with VMware vCenter.
