The 2U Gigabyte E264-S30 Server features 2x FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots for GPUs powered by 1x Intel Xeon 6 processor supporting 6700 series with E-Cores, 6700 series with P-Cores, or 6500 series with P-Cores. Compatible CPUs offer a TDP up to 350W and support an 8-channel memory architecture for standard RDIMMs and MCR DIMMs.
Designed for artificial intelligence, visual computing, networking applications and more, the Gigabyte E264-S30 supports 16x DDR5 memory module slots. RDIMMs offer speeds of up to 6400 MT/s, while MCRDIMMs support up to 8000 MT/s. MCRDIMMs are only supported with Intel Xeon 6 processors with P-Cores and in a 1 DPC configuration. This system features 2x 2000W 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies on the rear of the chassis offering 1+1 redundancy.
2x 2.5” Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable drive bays on the rear of the chassis are marked by lime green tabs just above the PSU. For more storage, or to boot the operating system, there are 2x M.2 slots on the server board with a PCIe Gen5 x2 interface for 2280 and 22110 cards. Adjacent to the drives you will find 2x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slots and 2x FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots. The following GPUs can be installed into the server:
To manage the E264-S30 server, Gigabyte deploys its pre-installed Gigabyte Management Console software to monitor and control either a single server, a small cluster of servers. For a large cluster of servers, the Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) provides a comprehensive suite of software for remote management. GSM Mobile can be used to monitor and management the system using a smartphone or tablet.
