The Gigabyte G293-S46 GPU Server houses dual 4th or 5th Gen, Intel Xeon Scalable or Max series processors plus up to 4x dual-slot Gen5 GPUs. It is ideal for AI applications such as training or inference, visual computing, and high-performance computing. It supports a maximum memory capacity of 4TB. On the front of the system, there are 8x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS hot-swappable drive bays.
On the system board, there are 16x DDR5 DIMM slots supporting Registered DIMMs at speeds of up to 5600MHz depending on the installed CPU generation. The CPU sockets can be outfitted with CPUs with a thermal design point (TDP) of up to 350W. CPU options include those with up to 32x physical cores and 64x virtual threads. Up to 4x dual-slot Gen5 GPUs can populate the Gigabyte G293-S46 server using FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 PCIe slots. 2x additional low-profile PCIe 5.0 x16 slots provide options for additional I.O controllers or HD controllers. A SAS card is required if installing SAS drives.
Dual 2x 10Gb/s Base-T LAN ports are available on the rear of the chassis along with a single 10/100/1000 port dedicated to system management. The management port grants access to the baseboard management controller (BMC). Remote system management is available via the BMC. Powering this system are dual 2200W 80 Plus Platinum power supplies in a redundant configuration. System temperatures are regulated by 4x 80mm fans at 16,500 rpm.
