The 4U Gigabyte G492-ID0 server offers up to 8x SXM4 NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPUs using NVLink and NVSwitch technology. These GPUs can be accessed by pulling the bottom drawer. Underneath these GPUs are the rest of the components, including dual 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 40 cores per socket. 32x DIMM slots can be outfitted with up to 8TB of memory, depending on the type of memory sticks installed. An optional M.2 extension board can be installed under the hood accommodating 2x M.2 slots supporting 2242, 2260, or 2280 cards.
The G492-ID0 server supports NVIDIA NVLink and NVSwitch technology with up to 600GB/s GPU to GPU interconnection. This system is NVIDIA-certified offering scalability, functionality, and security. The 4U chassis holds 6 x 2.5" Gen4 NVMe/SATA hot-swappable HDD/SSD drive bays on the front panel, next to dual low-profile PCIe Gen4 x16 slots and I/O ports. On the back side of the platform, there are 8x more low-profile Gen4 x16 slots for a total of 10x PCIe Gen4 slots. Providing power to the system are 4x 3000W PLUS Platinum PSUs offering 3+1 redundancy.
