Designed for intensive applications such as AI training, AI inference, and visual computing, the 4U Gigabyte G593-ZX1 GPU Server supports 8x AMD Instinct MI300X OAM GPU modules. Dual CPU sockets on the system board are compatible with AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors including those with AMD 3D V-Cache Technology. On the front of the server, there are 8x 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swappable drive bays.
The Gigabyte G593-ZX1 server houses up to 2x AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors and 8x AMD Instinct MI300X OAM GPU modules, making it ideal for AI and high-performance computing workloads. Processor choices are limited to those with a 300W thermal design point (TDP), with conditional support of up to 400W in limited conditions. Options include CPUs with up to 128x physical cores and 256x virtual threads. Each CPU socket is connected to a single M.2 PCIe Gen3 slot, for a total of two on the system board. They are ideal for fast access storage needs or OS installation.
GPUs on this system are housed on a seperate GPU board and connected to each other via AMD’s Infinity Fabric technology. For additional input/output functionality, there are 4x full-height, half-length PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and 8x low-profile Gen5 x16 slots. Dual 10Gb/s Base-T LAN ports are available on the rear of the server along with a dedicated management port. The management port grants access to the Aspeed AST2600 baseboard management controller (BMC), providing remote management capabilities for the system. This system is powered by 6x 3000W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies, 2x of which are for redundancy.
