The Gigabyte H233-Z80 Server is a 2U, dual node system designed for compute-intensive applications such as AI, high-performance computing, and hybrid/private cloud server services. Each node can hold up to 2x AMD 9004 or 9005 Series processors, and a maximum memory capacity of up to 6TB, or 12TB per chassis. On the front of the chassis, there are 4x 2.5-inch Gen4 NVMe hot-swappable drive bays, evenly split between the two nodes.
Designed for use as a hybrid /private cloud server and HCI, the Gigabyte H262-Z62 Server houses 4x compute nodes in a 2U chassis. The server nodes are limited to CPUs with a Thermal Design Point (TDP) of 240W with up to 192 physical cores and 384 threads. Every node has dual 1GbE LAN ports, 1x of which is an Intel I350-AM2 port. A dedicated management LAN port is also available on each node. Accessible from the rear of each node, are 2x PCIe Gen4 x16 low-profile expansion slots plus a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for an OCP 2.0 mezzanine card. 2x M.2 slots per node are ideal for fast access storage needs or OS installation. Powering this system are dual 2200W 80 PLUS Platinum power in a redundant configuration. Regulating interior temperature are 8x 80mm system fans.
Each node features an Aspeed AST2500 baseboard management controller (BMC) accessed by the dedicated management port for remote management of the system. The Gigabyte Management Console comes pre-installed on each server node to help manage the server through an intuitive browser-based user interface. The Gigabyte Server Manager or GSM is also available providing remote management capabilities for multiple servers that is compatible with either integrated platform management interface (IPMI) or Redfish (RESTful API) protocols. GSM Mobile for use with a smart phone or tablet is available for both Android and iOS operating systems. A chassis management controller (CMC) port accessible from the back of the chassis provides management of all nodes simultaneously.
