At 2U, the Gigabyte H262-NO1 server supports 4x nodes, each with dual 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 40 cores per CPU. In total, there are 64x DIMM slots and 16x slots per node supported by an 8-channel memory architecture. Chassis-wide, a maximum of up to 16TB of memory can be installed when filling the memory slots with 256GB 3DS RDIMMs or 3DS LRDIMMs. The system supports up to 8TB of RAM with standard 128GB RDIMMs and LRDIMMs. Along with standard DDR4 memory modules, this system delivers accelerated performance with Intel Optane Persistent memory 200 series modules.
On the front panel, the H262-NO1 server holds a total of 24x SATA, SAS, or Gen4 NVMe hot-swappable drive bays. Under the hood all nodes combined, the hyper-converged system delivers 8x half-length, low-profile PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, plus 4x OCP 3.0 mezzanine slots with a PCIe Gen4 x16 bus. Each node has its own dedicated management port, but the system also features a Chassis Management Controller (CMC) port for global management of the system.
