Supporting 4x nodes accessible through the rear of the platform, the 2U Gigabyte H262-ZL0 server supports dual AMD EPYC processors in each node. The integrated liquid cooling solution offers a cool liquid inlet and a warm liquid outlet on the back of each node to deliver maximum performance. 7002 or 7003 series families with 8x to 64 cores per processor, and a cTDP of up to 280W can be installed. This all-NVMe system assigns 6x 2.5” Gen4 NVMe U.2 hot-swappable SSD drive bays to each node, for a total of 24x drive bays on the front panel. There is one M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 slot in each node supporting 2280 or 22110 cards.
Ideal for high-performance computing, hyperconverged infrastructure, and hybrid/private cloud server applications, the system also has a chassis management controller (CMC) global management port. The H262-ZL0 nodes can be also be managed separately with the Aspeed AST2500 management controller or the GIGABYTE Management Console (AMI MegaRAC SP-X) web interface. Under the hood, each node accommodates an 8-channel memory per processor architecture and 16x DIMM slots with up to 4TB of DDR4 memory. In total, the system supports 64x DDR4 DIMM slots and up to 16TB of RAM. Additionally, there is 1x low-profile PCIe Gen4 x16 expansion slots and 1x OCP 3.0 Gen4 x16 mezzanine slots for expansion in each node. All components are powered by a dual 2200W (240V) 80 PLUS Platinum power supply. All storage bays are also compatible with SATA storage devices.
