Eight AMD EPYC processors from the 7002 or 7003 series families with 8x to 64x cores each power the 4-node Gigabyte H282-ZC0 server. The versatile system supports up to 8TB of memory per node when all 32x DDR4 DIMM slots are populated with 256GB memory modules, for a total of 96TB. The 2U platform can support a total of 8x 2.5" 7mm slim type Gen4 NVMe/SATA hot-swappable HDD/SSD drive bays, plus 8x M.2 PCIe drives using the Gen4 x4 slots with 2x slots in each node.
The high-density H282-ZC0 server is a front-access system that can be used for hyperconverged infrastructure, virtualization, and more. The dual 3200W (240V) 80 PLUS Platinum redundant PSU powers the components including 12x PCIe Gen4 x16 expansion slots. Each node has a single low-profile, half-length x16 slot on the front and two full-height, half-length x16 expansion slots in the rear. 4x OCP 3.0 Gen4 x16 mezzanine slots are accessible from the front of each node providing additional options for network connectivity. In addition, there are 2x CMC global management ports, and each node has a dedicated management port. This system is managed by the Aspeed AST2500 management controller or the GIGABYTE Management Console (AMI MegaRAC SP-X) web interface.
