The high-density, 2U Gigabyte H282-ZC1 server has 4x nodes, each of which is powered by dual AMD EPYC processors from the 7002 or 7003 series with 8 to 64 cores. Each of the front accessible server nodes is capable of supporting 32x DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 8TB of memory per node, for a total of 32TB across all 4x server nodes. In addition to 2x M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 slots with compatibility for 2260 or 2280 cards, each node has 2x 2.5" 7mm slim type Gen4 NVMe/SATA hot-swappable HDD/SSD drive bays on the front panel.
Hyperconverged infrastructure, virtualization, and other applications are all possible with the H282-ZC0 server. A single low-profile PCIe Gen4 x16 expansion slot and OCP 3.0 Gen4 x16 mezzanine slot on each node, are just some of the components that are powered by the dual 3200W (240V) 80 PLUS Platinum redundant PSUs. Every node has a dedicated management port for individual server node management. Two CMC global management ports provide one too many server management of the platform and can be daisy-chained with other servers in the network. This system can be managed by several options, the Chassis Management Controller, GIGABYTE Management Console, or the Gigabyte Server Manager, all leveraging the Aspeed AST2500 management controller in each server node.
