Offering ample upfront storage, it supports 4x 2.5” Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 hot-swappable drive bays paired with 8x 2.5” SATA or SAS4 hot-swappable drive bays. Intended for demanding tasks such as AI, visual computing, and networking applications, the server can be equipped with a single dual-slot Gen5 GPU.
Intel Xeon 6700-series CPUs can provide up to 144 E-cores and 144 virtual threads or up to 86 P-cores and 172 virtual threads. The motherboard features 16x DDR5 memory slots and supports with an 8-channel memory architecture. It is compatible with RDIMMs with speeds of up to 6400 MT/s and Multiplexer Combined Ranks (MCR) DIMMs up to 8000 MT/s, though MCR DIMMs are only compatible with Intel Xeon 6 Processors with P-cores in a 1DPC configuration. To boot the operating system, 1x M.2 slot (2280/22110) with a PCIe Gen5 x2 interface located adjacent to the DIMM slots. The server board also offers access to 4x PCIe slots at the rear of the chassis, including 2x FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, 1x FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slot, and 1x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slot. It is powered by dual 1600W 80+ Titanium redundant power supplies.
Gigabyte Management Console (GMC) and Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) are offered free of charge to manage the system. GMC is ideal for monitoring system status, troubleshooting, and managing inventory for individual servers or small clusters.
