The 10-bay Gigabyte R183-S94 server is designed for networking and can be utilized for a number of purposes including file storage, VPN-enabled file access, and use as a virtual server. 10x 2.5" hot-swappable drive bays are available in the 1U chassis. Depending on the platform revision, the bays can be outfitted with Gen4 NVMe, SATA, or SAS drive types. Powered by 2x Intel Xeon Scalable processors from the 4th or 5th generation family with up to 60 cores at maximum capacity the platform offers up to 8TB of DDR5 memory. Memory speeds up to 4400MHz are supported via 32x DIMM slots when using 2x DIMMs per channel (2DPC), or up to 4800MHz when using 1x DIMM per channel (1DPC). Additionally, this system supports Intel Xeon CPU Max series processors with up to 56 cores.
