The 12-bay Gigabyte R263-Z34 Server supports LFF or SFF hot-swap drive bays on the front panel. 8x of these storage bays support SATA/SAS4 drive bays and the remaining 4x support Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS4 bays. SAS drives will require a SAS add-in card. To save a drive bay on the front, administrators can use the 1x M.2 slot on the motherboard with a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface to boot the operating system. The single socket platform can be outfitted with an AMD EPYC 9005 or 9004-series processor.
