Designed for AI, visual computing, and as a hybrid/private cloud platform, the Gigabyte R264-S33 server supports up to 3x dual slot Gen5 GPUs. The drive bays on the front of the chassis can be configured with 3.5” or 2.5” drive form factors. Up to 4x Gen5 NVMe, SATA, or SAS4 plus 8x SATA or SAS4 drives can be installed. The system also supports a single M.2 slot with a PCIe Gen5 x2 link interface. At the heart of the system is a single 6700E-series, 6700P-series, or 6500P-series Intel Xeon 6 processor.
The Gigabyte R264-S33 features an 8-channel memory architecture supporting 16x DIMM slots. Compatible memory includes DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) or multiplexer Combined Rank DIMMs (MCR DIMM). DDR5 RDIMMs provide data transfer rates of up to 6400 MT/s (1DPC) or 5200 MT/s (2DPC). MCR DIMMs will provide data transfer rates of up to 8000 MT/s, but only in a 1DPC configuration with CPUs featuring P-cores. Additionally, administrators have access to 3x FHHL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots via 3x different riser cards for dual-slot GPU support, and 1x OCP 3.0 Gen5 x16 slot accessible from the rear of the server.
As with all Gigabyte servers, the R264-S33 is equipped with the pre-installed Gigabyte Management Console, making it perfect for value-added management of a single system or small clusters. For larger setups, Gigabyte offers the Gigabyte Server Management (GSM) tool, which allows for real-time monitoring and management of server health via a user-friendly, browser-based interface remotely. The platform offers dual redundant 2700W 80 Plus Titanium power supplies located on the back of the chassis.
