The Lenovo ThinkEdge SE350 V2 Server is a 1U, half-width, edge system with dimensions significantly shorter than a traditional 1U rack server. It can be mounted on a wall, ceiling mount, placed on a shelf or mounted in a rack. The server is also suitable for harsh environments with extended temperature range, high shock, and vibration tolerance. The SE350 V2 supports an Intel Xeon D-2700 with up to 16 cores and TDP ratings of up to 100W. This machine does not have PCIe slots for GPUs or network adapters.
Ideally, the ThinkEdge SE350 V2 Server is designed for hybrid clouds at the edge deployment, virtualization, network functions virtualization (NFV), workload consolidation, us as a web host, and more. when all 4x slots are filled with 64GB Lenovo TruDDR4 RDIMMs, up to 256GB of memory is supported at memory speeds of up to 3200MHz. The front of the chassis supports either 4x 2.5” 7mm hot-swap drives or 2x 2.5” 15mm hot-swap drives. 2x M.2 NVMe SSD x2 NVMe boot drives can be installed under the hood preserving the up-front storage. The front panel also delivers up to 4x 25/10GbE SFP28 connectors and 2x 2.5GBASE-T TSN connectors. Choices for power input include the following:
The Lenovo SE350 V2 includes the XClarity Controller 2 (XCC2) to monitor the system’s availability. There is an option to upgrade to XCC Platinum to provide remote control functions, support the mounting of remote media files (ISO and IMG image files), boot capture, power capping and new XCC2 Platinum features. Updated XCC2 Platinum features include System Guard, with enhanced security modes including a CNSA-compliant mode, FIPS 140-3 and NIST 800-193 support, and a new Neighbor Group feature.
