Designed for remote work, the Lenovo ThinkSystem ST50 V3 tower server features a compact a 17-liter chassis. With a small footprint and enterprise features, it’s an ideal entry-level system for growing businesses to manage their IT infrastructure and business applications. It is powered by either a single Intel Xeon E-2400 processor offering up to 8 cores or an Intel Pentium processor with up to 2 cores. Under the hood, the server supports 4x 32GB memory modules using Lenovo TruDDR5 UDIMMs with speeds at 4400 MHz, for a total of 128GB of RAM.
As a small form-factor tower, the ThinkSystem ST50 V3 tower server can be deployed at a branch office and managed at the company’s main office, reducing the workload of branch IT managers. The motherboard features 1x Gen5 x16 slot with x16 link width, plus 2x PCIe x4 slots with Gen4 x4 lanes for high-performance expansion options. A variety of flexible storage configurations can support either 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch non-hot-swap drives. The following drive bays support SATA HDDs, SSDs and an optional slim optical disc drive.
In addition to the front panel drive bays, the ST50 V3 tower supports 2x M.2 drives for OS boot support with VROC RAID redundancy. A USB 2.0 port on the front panel facilitates XClarity Mobile connectivity for local system management, mirroring the rear port that enables remote access to the XCC2 management controller. This tower server is equipped with 1x fixed power supply, available in either 300W Gold or 500W Platinum ratings. With the Platinum power supply option, the Lenovo ST50 V3 is Energy Star 4.0 compliant.
