The dual slot NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU supports NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture, plus virtual reality compatibility, NVIDIA ShadowPlay, and Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate. This graphics gaming card has two models which only differ in memory type. There is an 8GB GDDR6 memory model connected to a 256-bit memory interface running at 1750 MHz or 14 Gbps. Similarly, the 8GB GDDR6X memory model features a 256-bit memory interface running at 1188 MHz or 19 Gbps.
With a maximum capacity of 17,400 million transistors, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU runs at a frequency of 1410 MHz with a boost up to 1665 MHz. Both the GDDR6 and GDDR6X memory versions support 4864 CUDA cores, 152 tensor cores, 80 ROPs, and 38 ray tracing cores. A single 12-pin power connector providing the GPU with a maximum TDP of 200W. A 600W PSU is recommended for the host system. Furthermore, both have a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface connecting them to the rest of the host system. The RTX 3060 Ti supports up to 4x monitors through 3x DisplayPort 1.4a and 1x HDMI 2.1. 8K video is supported on this GPU with certain caveats.
