Designed for compact workstations and full-sized towers, the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU has 16GB of GDDR6 memory and is a cost-effective, and power-efficient GPU solution for designers, developers, engineers, and edge applications. Offering a small form factor at 2.7-inches in height and 6.6-inches in length, this GPU can occupy a number of different case sizes. It features an integrated fan with 4x mini-DisplayPort 1.4a for connecting up to 4x monitors.
Connected to the rest of the system via a PCIe 4.0 x8 slot, the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU is considered a high-end professional graphics card, and was launched in February of 2024. It has 18,900 transistors and 2,816 shading units. It features 4th generation Ada Lovelace Tensor Cores and 3rd generation Ray Tracking Cores for exceptional performance for creators, designers, and engineers.
NVIDIA’s RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU has 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and 12GB of L2 cache to process demanding memory-intensive workloads. This compact card offers a base clock of 1620 MHz and a boost clock of 2130 MHz with a 2000 MHz memory clock. Single precision performance is rated at 12.0 TFLOPS, RT Core performance at 27.7 TFLOPS, and Tensor Performance at 191.9 TFLOPs, all values are based on the GPU with boost clock enabled. It offers definite performance increases when compared to the previous generation NVIDIA RTX A2000 12GB GPU, powered by Ampere architecture.
The maximum power rating for the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU is at 70W. A power supply unit of 250W for the host system is recommended to experience the full potential of this GPU. This power-efficient GPU requires no power connectors, obtaining its 70W power draw from the PCIe slot. An integrated fan provides cooling.
