Featuring a double-width form factor, the NVIDIA RTX 4500 Ada Generation GPU has 24GB of GDDR6 memory to support design, engineering, scientific, and creative endeavors. It supports Ada Lovelace architecture-based CUDA cores, which deliver twice the speed of the previous generation Ampere-architecture-based RTX A4500 for single-precision floating point (FP32) operations and significant performance improvements for graphics and simulation workflows.
The NVIDIA RTX 4500 Ada Generation GPU has a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface. It has 4x DisplayPort 1.4a for connecting up to 4x monitors at 4K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, or 4x monitors at 5K with a 60Hz refresh rate or 2x 8K monitors at 60Hz. NVIDIA NVLink is not supported, nor is multi-instance GPU (MIG). It does support GPU Direct Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) and is VR-ready.
24GB of GDDR6 memory enables powerful performance across a range of workloads compared to the previous generation RTX A4500. For generative AI it delivers 1.4X the performance and for CAD applications a 1.6X improvement. Memory bandwidth is at 432GB/s with 24GB of GDDR6 memory, and a 192-bit memory bus. With 45,900 million transistors, it has 7680 shading units, 80 raster output units or ROPs, and 240 4th generation Tensor cores. With 3rd generation Ray Tracing cores.
Maximum power consumption for this card is listed at 210W with a recommended minimum host system PSU of 550W. It has a base clock of 2070MHz which can boost to 2580MHz, with a memory clock of 2250MHz or 18Gb/s effective. The RTX 4500 Ada has active cooling with an integrated fan.
