Offering the perfect balance of power and performance, the Nvidia RTX A5000 GPU features Nvidia’s Ampere architecture CUDA cores and delivers 24GB of GPU memory. This GPU is also PCIe 4.0-ready and supports second generation Ray Tracing cores and third-generation Tensor cores.
The RTX A5000 features Ampere architecture, plus 64 second-generation RT Cores (ray tracing) and 256 third-generation Tensor Cores. The advanced ray-tracing features with 24GB of graphics memory benefit rendering and simulation, plus AI, and graphics applications. The 8,192 CUDA cores also provide for extreme compute tasks with massive single-precision and dual-precision applications requiring massive parallel processing with large data sets and complex compute workloads. It has 4x display port 1.4a connectors, and 3D stereo support with stereo connector. The Ampere-based CUDA cores deliver up to 2.5X the single-precision floating point (FP32) performance compared to the previous generation.
With 24GB of GDDR6 memory, the Nvidia A5000 GPU can handle memory intensive tasks and large data sets, for ultrahigh-resolution rendering. This card is also compatible with Nvidia’s NVLink technology which is a low-profile bridge connector for two RTX A5000 cards. When linked using NVLink the two GPUs will function as a single unit with up to 48GB of GDDR6 memory and delivers up to 112 gigabytes per second (GB/s) of bandwidth compared with just 768 GB/s using a single card.
This card has an active cooling solution with a single integrated fan. Total board power is rated at 230W and requires a 1x 8-pin PCIe power connector.
For computation or graphics processing needs, the Nvidia RTX A5000 GPU excels. It provides the performance to support a number of applications in AI, Simulation, graphics, and a variety of memory-intensive tasks. It can also easily scale with the addition of a second card supported by Nvidia’s NVLink technology, effectively linking the cards together for a combined 48GB of GDDR6 memory.
