Offering independent software vendor certification (ISV) for a number of professional applications, the NVIDIA RTX A5500 GPU can easily plow through the complex, memory-intensive workloads. This dual-slot graphics card was released in March of 2022 and features 4x DisplayPort 1.4a ports for connecting up to 4x monitors at 4K and 120Hz, 4x 5K monitors at 60Hz or 2x monitors at 8K and 60Hz. NVLink is supported with 2- and 3-slot low-profile connectors for connecting multiple GPUs to scale memory and performance. It requires a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface for optimal performance.
The NVIDIA RTX A5500 Graphics Card has 24GB of GDDR6 memory with ECC, a 384-bit memory interface, and memory bandwidth of 768GB/s. It supports 320 third-generation Ampere Tensor cores with 80 second-generation RT Cores. The tensor cores help with machine learning applications, while the RT cores generate more realistic visuals with hardware-accelerated motion blur. Outfitted with a low-profile NVLink bridge, connecting up to 2x A5500 graphics cards, provides 112.5GB/s bidirectional memory bandwidth. Operating at a base frequency of 1080MHz, it can boost to 1665MHz.
With a power draw of 230W, a minimal power supply unit of 550W is recommended. Power to the NVIDIA A5500 GPU is through a single 8-pin power connector. This card is 3X more power efficient than the previous generation. It offers active cooling with an integrated fan.
