Designed on the Seagate Exos 4U106 12Gb/s platform, Seagate’s Corvault enterprise system allows Administrators to deploy high-capacity storage in a maximum-density enclosure using a 4U EXOS chassis design. It features redundant active controllers powered by 6th gen VelosCT and ADAPT. It can support up to 106 Exos self-encrypting SAS HDDs and offers Seagate’s Adapt Erasure coding or RAID 5 or 6 with self-healing autonomous drive regeneration (ADR). Depending on the type of drive installed, it can support up to 2 Petabytes raw using 20TB drives. The system features 10/100/1000 Ethernet and is powered by dual redundant 2000W Platinum or Titanium PSUs.
Managed by a web-based GUI or command Line Interface (CLI) the management console offers one-button configuration, remote diagnostics and non-disruptive updates. Offering multiple host support with self-healing, high-density data storage, the Seagate Exos Corvault delivers fast access and low-latency across your network. This system delivers multi-petabyte capacity, and 5-nines (99.999%) availability thanks to the self-healing drives made capable by Seagate’s autonomous drive regeneration technology (ADR). The high-density enclosure can be outfitted with up to 106 Seagate Exos X hard drives. All included hard drives are self-encrypting for maximum security.
ADR is constantly analyzing drive performance, diagnosing problems and implementing renewal as needed, automatically. Seagate Exos Corvault is designed to provide Hyperscale efficiencies for the data center and macro-edge facilities with SAN-level performance. Redundant Active, Active Controllers are powered by Seagate’s VelosCT ASIC. One button setup enables you to quickly get up to speed when installing a system for simplified deployment and use. The system as developed for private cloud, public cloud, digital content development and data backup to name a few. This system comes with rack mount rails.
