The Seagate Exos X 2U24 Advanced Storage Array is a 2U appliance designed for cloud data centers and conventional data centers and supports 24 drives per chassis to help effectively manage hot and cold data with real-time data tiering. Built to provide exceptional data storage and maximize capacity, up to 10x Exos X 2U24 chassis can be connected to provide up to 240 drive bays. Depending on how the system is outfitted, there are various options for network connections for support of fiber channel models, ISCSI models, Ethernet, SAS models. Basic ports include 4x ports per controller, for 8x ports system wide. 48GB of memory is provided along with mirrored cache, supercapacitor cache backup, and cache backup to flash. The Seagate Systems Storage Management Console provides remote diagnostics, plus nondisruptive updates and volume expansion along with the ADAPT and ADR self-healing storage technology for data resiliency. The system is powered by dual redundant 580W 80 PLUS Gold or Platinum PSUs.
