Designed for Big Data Analytics and AI applications, the Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer 221BT-DNTR is a 2U rack-mountable node system. It supports up to 2x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors per node each housing 8x DDR5 DIMM slots for a total of 16x slots. Fully configured, the maximum memory capacity on each server node is 4TB. Each node is connected to 12x of the 24x 2.5-inch hot-swap NVMe/SATA drive bays with an optional M.2 NVMe boot controller. The rear of the Supermicro 221BT-DNTR holds 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots and a single PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slot.
The Supermicro BigTwin 221BT-DNTR server is designed for High-Performance File System tasks, Diskless HPC Clusters, Big Data Analytics and AI applications. This system is powered by dual 2200W power supplies in a redundant configuration.
NOTE: This system is only sold with a minimal configuration of 2 CPUs, 2x DIMMs, 1 HDD/SSD/NVMe/M.2, and 1x NIC per node.
