On the front panel, the 1U, the Supermicro CloudDC A+ 1015CS-TNR server supports 4x 3.5” hot-swap hybrid NVMe/SATA/SAS drive bays. Also on the motherboard, there are 2x M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x2 slots for 2280 or 22110 cards, which can only be used as a boot drive. A maximum of 128 cores and 256 threads, a TDP of 360W, and DDR5 memory are supported by these CPUs.
With a single AMD EPYC 9004 series processor, compatible with AMD’s 4th generation 3D V-Cache technology, the system enables the most current innovations and is intended for use as a web server, cloud computing, and edge node applications. Powered by 860W redundant Platinum level power supplies, the Supermicro 1015CS-TNR server has 12x DDR5 memory module slots that can accommodate up to 3TB of DDR5 memory delivering speeds of up to 4800MHz. Two PCIe 5.0 x16 FHHL ports and two PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots on the back of the chassis can be used for networking, additional storage controller for SAS drives, or 1 x HH/HL/SS GPU card. SuperDoctor5, Redfish API, Super Diagnostics Offline, and IPMI 2.0 software can be used to help Administrators manage the system.
