Designed for a variety of business-critical workloads, the Supermicro CloudDC A+ Server 1115CS-TNR can be applied for use as a web server, cloud computing, an edge node, and for DNS and Gateway server applications. It features a single AMD EPYC 9004 CPU, 10x hybrid front accessible storage bays, and up to 3TB of memory.
*This system is only sold completely assembled with a minimum of 1x CPU, 1x DIMM, 1x storage device HDD/HDS/M.2, and 1x NIC.
A single AMD EPYC 9004 series processor provides the Supermicro CloudDC A+ Server 1115CS-TNR with up to 96 physical cores and 192 virtual threads. CPUs supported on this system have a thermal design point (TDP) range of up to 360W. 9004 series processors support 12x memory channels. The system is powered by dual redundant 860W Platinum level PSUs.
Note: Certain CPUs with high TDP may be supported only under specific conditions.
There are 10x 2.5” storage bays on the front of the Supermicro 1115CS-TNR server. The system will support SATA3 drives natively, but will also support SAS3 or U.2 NVMe drive formats with additional hardware. In addition, the system can support 2x NVMe M.2 drives for booting the system only. The M.2 drives can be installed on the system board via 2x PCIe 3.0 x2 slots, which support lengths of 2280 or 22110. Optional Storage controller cards for supporting SAS/SATA and NVMe RAID are available, with a SAS storage controller card required for support of SAS drive formats.
With 12x memory channels and 12x memory module slots, each memory module is provided with full bandwidth for optimal performance. Supported memory types include Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) supporting memory speeds of up to 4800MHz. At full capacity using 256GB memory modules in all memory module slots, the system will support up to 3TB of DDR5 ECC memory.
4x PCIe 5.0 slots are available with 2x x16 slots supporting full-height, half-length PCIe cards and the other two x16 slots designed to accept advanced I/O modules (AIOM). Two OCP AIOMs can be installed using both slots and provide advanced networking with a variety of port and connection speed options. There is a single integrated platform management interface RJ45 port for managing the system remotely.
Offering a flexible platform capable of supporting a number of business-critical applications, the Supermicro CloudDC A+ Server 1115CS-TNR delivers the performance of a dual processor system with just a single AMD EPYC processor. The system is easily managed using Supermicro’s proprietary management software suite, including Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 (SD5) plus Watchdog and can also benefit from additional software utilities to manage power consumption and updates. With IPMIView for Linux and Windows, third party utilities are also supported.
