The Supermicro GPU A+ Server 2145GH-TNMR features a quad socket design, compatible with 4x AMD Instinct MI300A Accelerated Processing Units (APU). The maximum memory capacity on this system is 512GB, with 128GB per APU. On the front of the server, 8x 2.5-inch hot-swap NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drive bays provide storage. System expansion is achieved through 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, half-length slots and 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots. AMD’s Instinct MI300A APU, offers the combined performance of a CPU with integrated GPU to bypass throughput bottlenecks through AMD’s Infinity architecture.
Ideal for intensive compute applications such as AI, research labs, and cloud solution provider (CSP) tasks, large language model applications, and high-performance computing, the Supermicro 2145GH-TNMR server house up to 4x AMD Instinct MI300A Accelerated Processing Units (APU). Each APU supports up to 128GB of memory for a total of 512GB of memory. These APUs combine the best properties of CPUs and GPUs to overcome the challenges associated with discrete GPUs and use AMDs 4th generation Infinity architecture for the interconnect. Accessible from the front of server, there are 8x 2.5-inch NVMe drive bays with optional support for SAS3 or SATA3 drive types via a storage add-on-card. For fast access storage needs or OS installation there are 2x M.2 NVMe or SATA3 drive slots.
Powering this system are 4x 1600W Titanium Level power supplies in a redundant configuration. To keep the server cool, there are 3x front mounted heavy duty, 8cm fans. The system offers an integrated RJ45 integrated platform management interface (IPMI) LAN port. To expand system capabilities and network communications, 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, half-length slots plus 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots are available.
