The Supermicro GPU SuperServer 210GP-DNR is a single socket system compatible with 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. This system has a stacked server configuration, which houses 2 multi-GPU system nodes. There are 8x DIMM slots on each server node for a total of 16x active DIMM slots in the chassis. Each node supports 2x 2.5-inch hot-swappable NVME drive bays.
Designed for applications in AI, Deep Learning, media and video streaming plus industrial automation, gaming and for use as a high-performance enterprise server, each of the two server nodes in the Supermicro GPU SuperServer 210GP-DNR can support up to 3x full-height double-width PCIe-based GPUs, for 12x total. Each of the two server nodes supports a single 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor for a total of 2 sockets across both nodes of the 210GP-DNR. The system board holds a total of 8x DIMM slots, for a combined 16x DIMM slots. On the front of each node there are dual hot-swappable 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe drive bays. Each of the nodes support up to 3x full-height, full-length PCIe GPUs. This high-performance system is powered by 2600W Redundant Power Supplies.
*This system is only sold completely assembled with a minimum of 1CPU, 2x DIMMs, 1x GPU, and 1x storage device installed.
Depending on the chosen processor for the Supermicro SuperServer 210GP-DNR, the 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor can provide up to 40x Physical Cores and 80x Virtual Threads. With both nodes fully configured with top-of-the-line CPUs it has the potential to hold 80x Physical Cores and 160x Virtual Threads. The system architecture supports a CPU Thermal Design of 270W.
On the front of each of the nodes there are dual 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe Gen4 hot-swap drive bays. In addition, there are 2x M.2 NVMe/SATA3 slots on the system board of each node that can be used to support the OS in mirror mode.
Each node of the Supermicro 210GP-DNR houses 8x DIMM slots for a total of 16x DIMM slots across both nodes. Registered and Load Reduced DIMMs are both fully supported on the Supermicro GPU 210GP-DNR server. At full capacity, this system holds up to 2TB of memory using 8x 256GB ECC DDR4 LRDIMM/RDIMM DRAM modules. Memory speeds of compatible DIMMs include 3200MHz, 2933MHz, 2666MHz.
A total of 3x PCIe GPUs can be installed on each of the two nodes housed in the Supermicro 210GP-DNR server. 3x PCIe Gen4 x16 full-height full-length, double-width slots can be used to install the GPUs. The GPUs are linked to one another via PCIe. An advanced I/O module (AIOM) or OCP 3.0 card can also be installed in each node via a PCIe 4.0 x8 mezzanine slot.
Supermicro offers a variety of software management features such as the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0, KVM with dedicated LAN, SuperDoctor 5, Watch Dog, and Out-of-band Management Package. The AST2500 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) provides on-site or remote access to the system.
The Supermicro GPU SuperServer 210GP-DNR is a 2U rackmountable server populated with 2x single-socket server nodes. Compatible 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, the single-socket supports 8x DIMM slots on the system board of each node. The front of each node holds 2x 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe Gen4 supported drive bays. Each node also holds 3x FHFL double-width GPUs, connecting them together via PCIe.
