The Supermicro GrandTwin A+ Server 2115GT-HNTF house 4x compute nodes in a 2U chassis. Each node supports a single 4th Generation AMD EPYC Series Processor and supports a maximum memory capacity of 3TB DDR5. It is ideal for High Performance Computing, Mission Critical Web Applications, Cloud Gaming and more. There are 4x 2.5-inch NVMe/SATA drive bays available on each node.
Designed around the AMD SP5 chipset, the Supermicro GrandTwin A+ Server 2115GT-HNTF is compatible with the AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors. A Thermal Design Point (TDP) of up to 360W includes CPUs with up to 96x physical cores and 192x virtual threads. 4th Generation AMD EPYC processors leverage 12x memory channels for increased memory bandwidth and PCIe 5.0. Powering this system are 2x redundant 2200W 80 PLUS Titanium Level power supply units (PSU).
NOTE: This system is only available completely assembled with a minimum of 1x CPU, 1x DIMM, and 1x storage drive (M.2, HDD or SSD), and 1x Advanced I/O Module (AIOM) per node. For best performance, 12x DIMM modules are recommended.
Each compute node of the Supermicro 2115GT-HNTF server houses 12x DIMM slots on its system board. DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) and 3DS RDIMM modules are compatible with this system. The maximum memory configuration for each node is 3TB using 12x 256GB DDR5 3DS RDIMM memory modules. Across the whole system, the maximum memory capacity is 12TB. With a single memory module per memory channel, a maximum memory speed of up to 4800MHz is available.
4x 2.5-inch hot-swappable NVMe/SATA drive bays are accessible from the front of each node. This brings the total number of drive bays on this system 16. These drives are easy to replace and don’t require any tools, they can also be used as AIOM/OCP 3.0 cards. Every node also supports 2x M.2 NVMe or SATA drive slots on the system board for fast access storage or OS installation. They have a PCIe 5.0 x4 or SATA interface and support a 2280 length form factor.
There is a single low-profile PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slot on each node of the Supermicro GrandTwin 2115GT-HNTF server. PCIe 5.0 offers double the data transfer rates compared PCIe 4.0 slots. A dedicated BMC LAN port is available for network connectivity. A GrandTwin I/O module supports BMC LAN port and includes 2x USB connectors and dual RJ45 network ports with 10GbE or 25GbE. The system also features flexible bays for either storage or AIOM/OCP 3.0 cards.
The 2U Supermicro GrandTwin A+ Server 2115GT-HNTF supports 4x system nodes with a single AMD EPYC 9004 Series processor. With a maximum memory capacity of 3TB per node, this system can support applications in Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), can be used as a high-availability Cache Cluster, or for mission-critical web applications. The front of each node holds 4x 2.5-inch drive bays with support for NVMe or SATA drives.
