The 4-node Supermicro GrandTwin SuperServer 211GT-HNC8F features a single socket for a 5th or 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor. The system also supports Intel Xeon CPU Max Series CPUs with support for high bandwidth memory. The Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs offer up to 64 cores and 128 threads, and are limited to a TDP of up to 350W when air cooled. Each node can deliver up to 4TB of memory when all 16x DIMM slots are filled with 256GB DDR5 RDIMMs running at speeds of up to 5600 MT/s.
Each node on the Supermicro GrandTwin 211GT-HNC8F supports 4x front hot-swap 2.5" NVMe/SAS/SATA drive bays along with a front I/O panel. Similarly, each server board holds 2x M.2 NVMe Gen4 or SATA slots, an optional AIOM module, and 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slot. The rear I/O also includes a 2200W redundant Titanium Level (96%) power supply.
To manage the Supermicro 211GT-HNC8F, administrators can deploy Supermicro software tools such as SuperCloud Composer, SuperServer Manager, SuperServer Automation Assistant, and SuperDoctor 5 (SD5). SD5 can monitor and control CPU temperature, voltage levels, fan speed, and power consumption. If something goes wrong, users can receive notifications by email or Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
