The Supermicro GrandTwin SuperServer 211GT-HNTF has 4x hot-pluggable compute nodes and is intended for High-Performance Computing, Cloud Gaming, and Mission Critical Web Applications. Each compute node supports a single socket with a 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable CPU, which includes Intel’s Xeon CPU Max Series with high bandwidth memory and a maximum TDP of up to 350W. Each node can also be outfitted with 2x optional storage modules each with 2x 2.5-inch NVMe or SATA bays, for 4x bays total. In addition to these bays, the server supports 2x M.2 NVMe or 2x M.2 SATA3 slots to boot the operating system.
Each node in the GrandTwin 211GT-HNTF server supports 16x DDR5 DIMMs for up to 4TB of memory and an optional Advanced I/O Module (AIOM) or PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. In addition, each node features an integrated GrandTwin I/O module with baseboard management controller (BMC) and 2x 10GbE or 2x 25GbE ports. The system can be managed using Supermicro’s SuperDoctor 5, plus Supermicro’s Update Manager, Power Manager, and Server Manager. Redfish API is also supported. Powering the system are dual 2200W redundant Titanium level power supplies.
