The 2U Supermicro GrandTwin SuperServer 212GT-HNR supports 4x nodes, each with 6x hot-swap 2.5-inch PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe drive bays. Each single socket system features an Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processor with E-cores delivering up to 144 cores and 144 threads, a cache of up to 108MB, and a maximum TDP of 330W when air cooled. 16x DDR5 RDIMM slots in each node provide up to 1TB of RAM running at up to 6400MT/s.
Ideal for scale-out object storage, cloud computing, mission critical web applications, and more, the GrandTwin SuperServer 212GT-HNR is powered by 2x 2200W Redundant (1 + 1) Titanium Level (96%) power supply units. There are 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots per node that are compatible with OCP 3.0. Similarly, dual M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe slots compatible with 2280 form factor cards can be found in each system but a VROC card is required for RAID.
Administrators will find 1x RJ45 1GbE dedicated BMC LAN port, 1x VGA port, and 2x USB 3.0 ports on the back of each I/O panel. For managing the system, Supermicro offers software such as SuperCloud Composer, Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Supermicro Think-Agent Service (TAS), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA).
