The single-socket Supermicro Hyper SuperServer 112H-TN is powered by an Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processor with E-cores (Efficient Cores). The CPU provides up to 144 cores and 144 threads with a maximum cache of 108MB. The thermal design point (TDP) ranges from 205W to 330W when air cooled. With an 8-channel memory architecture, the platform supports up to 1TB of memory when all 16x DIMMs are populated with 64GB RDIMM memory modules. Depending on the type of CPU and memory modules installed, memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s can be reached.
Supermicro’s Hyper SuperServer 112H-TN is designed for scale out all-flash NVMe storage, AI inference, virtualization and financial applications, among others. Up to 12x hot-swap 2.5” hybrid drive bays with NVMe, SAS, or SATA configurations can line the front of the system, but they may require additional storage controller or cables. 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVME expansion slots that can accommodate 2280, 22110, and 25110 card form factors. An Intel VROC RAID key is required to achieve RAID 0/1/5/10 support. For more RAID options, a storage controller PCIe card can be installed in one of the PCIe slots and is required for SAS implementations.
With a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU link, the 1U platform can house up to 1x double-width or 2x single-width GPUs. The back of the chassis provides access to one PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slot that supports OCP 3.0. Supermicro offers 2x 1200W, 1300W, or 1600W redundant (1+1) Titanium level (96%) power supplies. Administrators have the option to install Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), SuperCloud Composer, Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA) to configure and oversee the system remotely.
