The Supermicro Hyper SuperServer 122H-TN is a member of the Supermicro X14 series, and is equipped with 2x Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processors. Outfitted with E-cores (Efficient Cores), the CPUs deliver low power consumption and large core counts. These CPUs have up to 144 cores and 144 threads, as well as a maximum L3 cache of up to 108MB. TDP ranges from 205W to a maximum of 330W when the system is liquid cooled. Air cooled CPUs with a TDP over 250W are supported under certain conditions.
Cloud computing, big data analytics, hyperconverged storage, network functionality, virtualization, AI inference and machine learning, and other applications are all well suited for this 1U platform. Administrators can choose from 2x different layouts for the front panel's storage bays. The system offers either 8x or 12x hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays for NVMe, SAS, SATA configurations. There are 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVME slots available on the motherboard, which support 2280 and 22110 card form factors. With an 8-channel memory architecture the Hyper SuperServer 122H-TN can provide up to 2TB of memory using all 32x DDR5 RDIMM slots, at memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s.
There are several ports on the back of the Hyper 122H-TN. 3x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots can support 3x single-width GPUs, or 1x double-width GPU, or an assortment of network cards and storage controllers. The rear also accommodates 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slot that is compatible with OCP 3.0. Administrators can select redundant (1+1) Titanium level (96%) power supplies in pairs of 1200W, 1600W, 2000W, or 2600W. Supermicro offers management tools for updating, monitoring, and managing IT assets, including an at-chassis 1x RJ45 1 GbE Dedicated BMC LAN port. To manage the system remotely, businesses can deploy SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA).
