Powered by a single Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processor featuring E-cores (Efficient Cores), the Supermicro Hyper SuperServer 212H-TN is ideal for virtualization, software-defined storage, cloud computing, and more. The CPUs in this series can have a maximum of 108MB of cache, along with up to 144 cores and 144 threads. When the system is air cooled, TDP can vary from 205W to a maximum of 330W.
The 2U platform is equipped with up to 1x double-width or 2x single-width GPUs with a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect. Two PCIe 5.0 options are available, with 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL double-width slot and 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 FH/10.5" L double-width slot, or 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL double-width slot and 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 FH/10.5"L slots. Both options also deploy a single PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slot that’s compatible with OCP 3.0. The Hyper SuperServer 122H-TN has an 8-channel memory architecture and 16x DDR5 memory module slots that can sustain memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s with 1DPC or 5200MT/s with 2DPC.
Administrators have the option to choose 2x 1200W, 1300W, 1600W, or 2600W redundant (1+1) Titanium level (96%) power supplies. A single RJ45 1 GbE dedicated BMC LAN port provides remote access to the system. Supermicro provides several management tools for configuring, tracking, and overseeing IT assets. Businesses can install SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA) to control the system remotely.
The motherboard has 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVME expansion slots that can accommodate 2280, 22110, and 25110 card form factors. VROC is required for RAID. The storage bays on the front panel have three distinct arrangement options available. The following configurations are supported on the platform:
