The Supermicro IoT SuperServer 112B-FDWR delivers a compact 1U chassis with a depth of 16.9 inches. It is equipped with a front I/O panel and 2x internal fixed 2.5” NVMe/SATA drive bays. To boot the operating system, the system has 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVMe slots on the server board, compatible with both 2280 and 22110 form factor cards. It supports a single Intel Xeon 6700E series processor with E-cores, offering up to 144 cores and 160 threads, and a thermal design power (TDP) threshold of 250W with air cooling.
Designed for multi-access edge computing, artificial intelligence, and satellite communication, the SuperServer 112B-FDWR accommodates up to 1TB of RDIMM memory across its 8x DDR5 DIMM slots. It supports not only standard RDIMMs but also Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series. The supported CPUs support 8-memory channel architecture for 1x DIMM per channel and memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s. For support of a single GPU and other expansion options, there are 2x full-height, full-length (FHFL) PCIe 5.0 x16 slots plus a single low profile (LP) PCIe 5.0 x16 slot.
Enhanced graphics processing, can be provided by either a single-width NVIDIA L4 or NVIDIA A2 GPU. The server is powered by dual 600W redundant power supplies. Administrators can efficiently monitor and manage the 112B-FDWR using tools such as Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA).
