Standing at 14.25 inches tall, the Supermicro Mainstream A+ Server 3015A-I is a mid-tower workstation built for 2D and 3D content creation within small and medium sized businesses. At its core, the server houses a single socket compatible with AMD EPYC 4004, EPYC 4005, Ryzen 7000, or Ryzen 9000 series processors The CPU provides up to 4x dual-channel ECC or Non-ECC DDR5 UDIMM slots supporting up to 192GB of memory.
Compatible CPUs can provide up to 16 cores, 32 threads, and are limited to a maximum TDP range of up to 170W. Powered by a 668W Platinum Level (92%) power supply, the Supermicro 3015A-I delivers 4x front fixed SATA drive bays with either 2.5” or 3.5” storage configurations. In addition to these bays, the tower has 2x 5.25" peripheral bays that can be outfitted with optical drives or additional storage with an optional mobile rack. 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slots on the system board can support NVMe M.2 drives and used for additional storage or to boot the OS. Several Supermicro tools, including the SuperServer Automation Assistant, SuperDoctor 5, and Supermicro Server Manager are available to help administrators maintain the system. SuperDoctor 5, utilized via a web page or command line interface, is compatible with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
