The 16-bay Supermicro Storage SuperServer 122B-NE316R features up to 2x single-width GPUs with a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect. At the heart of the 1U server, are 2x Intel Xeon 6 6700 series E-core processors. With up to 144 cores and 144 threads, each CPU is limited to a maximum TDP of 300W. The front-loading E3.S all-flash storage system is ideal for in-memory computing, software-defined storage, NVMe over fabrics solution, and more.
The front of the Storage SuperServer 122B-NE316R holds 16x hot-swap E3.S 1T NVMe drive bays. For NVMe RAID, a VROC hardware key is required. Under the hood, there are 2x M.2 NVMe slots for 2280 and 22110 form factor cards. Sitting next to each CPU are 16x memory module slots for a total of 32x DIMM slots. Up to 8TB of DDR5 RAM can be deployed when all slots are populated with 256GB RDIMMs or LRDIMMs running at speeds of up to 6400 MT/s.
The air-cooled system supports 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHHL slots, plus 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slots that are OCP 3.0 compatible. This server is powered by 2x 2000W redundant (1 + 1) Titanium Level (96%) PSUs and can be managed by software such as SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA), SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Think-Agent Service (TAS), and Supermicro Server Manager (SSM).
