Up to 10x double-width, 23.5-inch depth Supermicro SuperBlade 612B-1NE34 can be inserted into various 6U enclosures to provide dense compute. This blade supports a single Intel Xeon 6 6700 series processor with E-Cores featuring a TDP of up to 250W when air cooled and up to 330W when liquid cooled. The CPU is surrounded by 16x DDR5 memory module slots supporting up to 4TB of memory.
For full memory capacity, all slots are populated with 256GB RDIMMs. Memory speeds of up to 6400 MT/s are attainable with 1x DIMM Per Channel (1DPC). With 2DPC, memory speed is reduced. Built for enterprise applications, high-performance computing, virtualization and more, the SuperBlade 612B-1NE34 can be outfitted with up to 1x double-width or 2x single-width GPUs using 2x PCIe Gen5 x16 slots. The front of the node holds 4x hot-swap E3.S NVMe drive bays with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 support with the addition of a premium Virtual RAID on CPU or VROC key. An NVMe M.2 slot on the system board is compatible with 2280 form factor drives and can be used for additional storage or to support the OS or a hypervisor.
For networking, the Supermicro 612B-1NE34 supports a connector for a NIC mezzanine card towards the rear of the blade. Power, cooling, and networking, and management are handled at the enclosure level with compute, GPU acceleration, memory, and storage hosted by the server blade.
