Equipped with dual Intel Xeon 6 processors from the 6700 series featuring E-Cores, the Supermicro SuperBlade 622B-1NE38 supports up to 32x DDR5 RDIMMs or 3DS RDIMMs, delivering speeds of up to 6400 MT/s in a 1DPC configuration. Intel CPUs with a maximum thermal design power (TDP) rating of up to 205W are supported when air-cooled at 35°C and can reach up to 330W with liquid cooling.
The SuperBlade 622B-1NE38 is ideal for enterprise applications, scientific research, cloud computing, and more. It supports up to 10x NVMe SSDs with 8x hot-swap E3.S PCIe Gen5 drive bays on the front panel and 2x M.2 slots for 2280 form factor cards, available through an optional adapter. The system includes dual-port 25G Ethernet ports, with the option to add another dual-port 25G Ethernet connection via a mezzanine card. Administrators can deploy up to 70 servers in a 42U rack, with each 6U enclosure capable of housing up to 10 blades. The Supermicro 622B-1NE38 does not support PCIe expansion slots.

This server sled is supported by a Supermicro SuperBlade enclosure, which provides centralized power, cooling, networking, and management reducing cable clutter and the number of switches. The enclosure is also highly redundant with options for dual chassis management controller (CMC) and dual switches for each of two I/O fabrics that offer 1GbE, 10GbE or 25GbE.
