The Supermicro SuperBlade 6429P-C3N server is a dual socket system compatible with 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors and hosted in the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E-822, 614E-622, or 614E-422. Each CPU socket supports 12x DIMM slots for a total of 24x active DIMMs slots with both CPUs installed. On the front of each server node there are 3x 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays.
Each of these Supermicro SuperBlade 6429P-C3N server nodes supports dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors with 12x DIMMs per CPU and 24x DIMM slots total on the system board. A fully configured system can support up to 768GB of memory when 32GB Very Low Profile (VLP) ECC DDR4 memory modules are used. The front of the system has 3x 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays which can support NVMe and SAS3/SATA3 drives. Compatible enclosures for this system include the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E family, which provides power, cooling, management, and expansion options.

The Supermicro 6429P-C3N Server can be outfitted with one or two 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. Compatible CPUs featuring a thermal design point (TDP) of up to 205W with up to 28x physical cores and 56x virtual threads, which make use of Intel’s Hyper-Threading technology, can be installed. This system is ideal for high-performance computing workloads in addition to being an enterprise server for virtualized environments.
The front of the system has 3x 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays, compatible with both NVMe and SAS3/SATA3 hot-pluggable drives. This system comes with an integrated Broadcom 3108 SAS3 controller which provides hardware RAID levels of 0, 1, and 5 with a 2GB cache.
24x DIMM slots on the system board are divided equally between the two CPU sockets. The maximum memory capacity on the Supermicro SuperBlade 6429P-C3N server is 768GB, achieved using 24x 32GB Very Low Profile ECC DDR4 DIMMs in each socket. The supported memory speeds on this system include 2933MHz, 2666MHz, and 2400MHz depending on the memory speeds supported by the installed memory modules and CPUs.
Dual 10Gb Ethernet switches can be found on the back of this system. They automatically connect to the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E family I/O modules through the midplane. 1x or 2x I/O modules can be installed on the enclosure which offers 10/1 GbE connection speeds. A single Chassis Management Modules (CMM) for individual server and group management tasks is supported on the 614E enclosure.
To manage the Supermicro 6429P-C3N node its compatible enclosure features a Chassis Management Module (CMM) in the rear which grants access to the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) in each SuperBlade server node. The BMC is compatible with the Integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 which enables system compatibility with other third-party hardware.
Dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors provide the computational power for the Supermicro SuperBlade 6429P-C3N Server. Up to 14x of these SuperBlade servers can be installed in the SBE 614E family of enclosures for up to 28 CPUs per chassis and up to 98 dual processor nodes per 42U rack. Each CPU socket supports 12x DIMM slots for a total of 24x DIMM slots on the system board. The front of the system features 3x hybrid 2.5-inch drive bays compatible with NVMe and SAS3/SATA3 drives for up to 42x drive bays per chassis with 14x SuperBlade server nodes installed.
