The Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 610J Family provides dense, multi-blade servers for High-Performance Computing, Enterprise Cloud applications, and AI Inferencing. Up to 10x single-socket or dual-socket blade servers can populate this 6U enclosure family. The blades supported on this enclosure family include only those that support the Intel Xeon Scalable Processor.
These enclosures offer high-density for the data center or cloud with multi-socket server nodes, plus shared cooling, power, networking, and management. Outfitted with compatible server nodes, these enclosures support applications for cloud services, simulation and modeling, plus AI inference and other high-performance computing applications.
There are 3x Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 610J chassis in this family that are differentiated by the number of PSUs installed, and the complimentary cooling fans that take the place of the PSUs. The Enclosure 610J-822 features 8x PSUs, while the other two configurations, the SuperBlade Enclosure 610J-622 has 6x PSUs, while the 610J-422 has 4x PSUs. All PSUs have integrated fans but additional cooling fans are added in place of PSUs in the 622 and 422 chassis configurations. All of these enclosures offer two management modules, 4x 25G Ethernet switches, and 4x pass-through modules. The Chassis Management Modules (CMM) provide a redundant single access point for managing the associated server nodes.

These enclosures provide power, cooling, Input/Output, and management to the installed SuperBlade server nodes. Only single or dual socket server nodes featuring 1st or 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors are supported on these enclosures. When outfitted with Intel CPUs, a Thermal Design Point (TDP) of up to 270W is supported.
Depending on your choice of enclosure model, the number of fans and PSUs vary. In the SuperBlade Enclosure 610J-822 model, there are 8x 2200W Titanium PSUs at 96% efficiency. The 610J-622 model features 6x 2200W Titanium PSUs along with 2x cooling fans, while the 610J-422 enclosure holds 4x 2200W Titanium PSUs along with 4x cooling fans.
Dual Chassis Management Module (CMM) slots on the back of the Supermicro 610J provide redundant management of the system. The CMM is used for remote management and comes with software support. The SuperBlades also have optional integrated platform management interface mezzanine cards that can be installed.

Dual 10GbE or 1GbE Ethernet switches are available to install for redundancy purposes. Four 25GbE Ethernet switches are also compatible with this enclosure, plus up to 4x pass-through modules. All modules are available in multiples to provide continuous operation in the event of a hardware failure.

The Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 610J is a 6U chassis that can hold up to 10x single- or dual-socket half- or full-width SuperBlade servers. There are three models to choose from the 610J-822, 610J-622, and 610J-422. The differences between these models are in the number of Titanium-grade PSUs and their replacement cooling fans.
