Designed for implementation with the 4U Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 414E-222, 414E-422 or 414EB-222 model, the Supermicro SuperBlade 4429P-T2N Server is a high-density server node offering dual Processor performance. The 4U SuperBlade enclosure can support up to 14 of these dual-socket server nodes for up to 28 CPUs per chassis and up to 280 CPUs in a standard 42U rack enclosure with 10x multi-blade enclosures installed.
Offering dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, the Supermicro SuperBlade 4429P-T2N Server is ideal for applications in high-performance computing, financial analysis and for use as and enterprise cloud server. This server node also supports up to 384GB of memory at capacity with two front mounted drive bays capable of supporting NVMe or SATA drive formats.

With a thermal design point (TDP) restriction of 165W, this server node can still field Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with up to 28 cores. Both 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors are supported with 2nd generation CPUs providing transfer speeds of up to 2933MT/s.
Each of the processors in this dual processor configuration support 6x memory channels with 6x memory modules per CPU for 12x active memory module slots with both processors installed. The blade will support up to 384GB using very low profile (VLP) registered (RDIMM) DDR4 memory modules. These VLP memory modules offer a low-profile design to be compatible with 1U server applications like that found on the SuperBlade 4429P-T2N Server.
Two storage bays on the front of the server node support either 2x hot-pluggable NVMe or 2x hot-pluggable SATA3 drive formats. The onboard SATA storage controller supports data transfer speed of 6Gb/s with RAID options of 0 and 1. In addition, the system also features a single PCIe x4 M.2 slot on the system board for support of the operating system (OS) that will preserve your up-front storage bays.
The Supermicro SuperBlade 4429P-T2N server automatically connects to the mid-plane on the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 414E-222, 414E-422 or 414EB-222 model chassis with dual 10G Ethernet. There are 2x Ethernet switches on the back of each of the SuperBlade Enclosure 414E chassis that support connection speeds of 1Gb/s and 10Gb/s.
Management of the server node is also through the SuperBlade Enclosure 414E-222, 414E-422 or 414EB-222 model chassis, which supports a single Chassis Management Module or CMM. The CMM provides for remote management of the system as a whole or the individual server node housed within the enclosure.
