The Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TN4RT is a 1U rackmount system featuring dual Intel Xeon Scalable processors, up to 6TB of memory, plus 2x 10GBase-T Ethernet ports to minimize latency and power usage. The server supports 4x hot-swap NVMe/SATA3 hybrid drive bays, is equipped with 8x heavy duty fans, and uses a 750W redundant power supply.
The Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TN4RT is differentiated from the SuperServer 6019U-TN4R4T by its network ports. The 6019U-TN4RT only has 2x 10GBase-T Ethernet ports rather than 4x on the 6019U-TN4R4T. This system also supports 1st and 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors as well as up to 6TB of memory. Just like most Supermicro systems, a minimal configuration on this chassis requires 2 processors and 4 DIMM modules.
Intel’s 1st or 2nd generation Xeon Scalable processors can be installed on this chassis and support up to 28 cores. Second generation processors can reach the top memory speed of 2933MT/s, while first generation processors will only support memory speeds of up to 2666MT/s. Power is provided by two 750W hot-swappable redundant power supply modules and management of the system can be done with several software options.
Each Intel Xeon Scalable CPU is assigned 12x memory module slots, for a total of 24x active memory slots with both processors. Registered (RDIMM), Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) and 3DS RDIMM and LRDIMM modules are supported with both 1st and 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Intel Optane memory modules are also supported, but only with 2nd generation Scalable processors. With all 24 DIMM slots loaded to capacity the system will support up to 6TB of 3DS LRDIMM or 3DS RDIMM, or up to 3TB using standard LRDIMM memory modules with speeds of up to 2933 MHz.
Four front mounted 3.5-inch hot-swap bays can be outfitted with NVMe/SATA3 hybrid drives, but you have the option to convert to SAS3 via a discrete add-on card (AOC). For more storage, a maximum of 2x M.2 solid state drives can be installed on an optional riser card, with some restrictions. One M.2 socket supports a PCIe NVMe drive and the other supports a SATA M.2 drive.
The SuperServer 6019U-TN4RT supports 2x full-height full-length expansion cards or one double-width GPU, and one low-profile card, mounted on a riser card and riser bracket. There is also an internal expansion slot in the center of the chassis for the M.2 add on card. Both CPUs need to be installed in order to gain full access to the PCIe slots and onboard controllers. Two 10GBase-T Ethernet ports on the backside of the chassis allow fast network connection speeds and right next to them, you’ll find another LAN port for the base management controller (BMC).
With a couple of clicks, the 6019U-TN4RT can be managed using Supermicro Server Manager (SSM) to monitor the health of server components like memory and hard drives. Administrators can increase productivity by managing and monitoring power usage to reduce the risk of damage by an excess of electricity flow. Other management features include SuperDoctor 5 (SD5), Intelligent Platform Management Interface 2.0 (IPMI), and Intel Node Manager.
The Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TN4RT is designed to make virtualization and cloud computing a breeze with support for up to 6TB of memory, 4x hot-swap 3.5-inch storage devices, M.2 storage, and 2x integrated 10GBase-T Ethernet ports. The system’s 24x DIMM slots will also allow for better performance while using high-performance digital applications.
