The Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TR4 features 24 memory module slots with up to 6TB of memory. The dual-socket 1U chassis is powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores per processor. The 4x hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays on the front of this 1U rackmount server has the flexibility to support SATA, SAS, or NVMe drives.
As part of the Ultra SuperServer family, this 1U server uses a dual-processor motherboard based on an Intel C621 chipset to support Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores. The chassis also supports 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports on the back of the system, as well as a baseboard management controller (BMC). Under the SuperServer 6019U-TR4 cover you will find 24x DIMMs with a maximum memory of 6TB and support for one double-width GPU.
This Ultra SuperServer is powered by two Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each and 70-205W TDP. Both Gen 1 and Gen 2 are compatible, but if you want the fastest and most memory, second-generation processors are required and both CPUs must be installed for full access to PCIe slots and onboard controllers. Second-generation supports memory speeds of up to 2933MT/s, compared to first-generation processors which reach 2666MT/s.
To achieve faster performance, each processor supports six memory channels with two memory modules per channel. Each processor controls 12x DDR4 memory modules for a total of 24x DIMMs. The system supports Registered (RDIMM), Load-Reduced (LRDIMM), and Intel Optane memory modules (DCPMM). Optane modules are only supported with Gen 2 Xeon Scalable processors. With all memory slots occupied, the Supermicro 6019U-TR4 will support a maximum of 6TB.
Storage is provided on the front of the 1U chassis with 4x hot-swap 3.5-inch standard SATA drive bays, but can be configured for SAS and NVMe. For more storage, up to two M.2 solid state drives can be installed with an add-on card.
The chassis offers up to 4x PCIe 3.0 slots with the appropriate risers. Two full-height full-length expansion cards can fill the slots, as well as one low-profile card. One of the slots can also be occupied by a double-width graphics card. Two M.2 solid state drives can be installed where one M.2 socket supports PCIe and the other supports SATA. On the back of the system, the system comes standard with 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Management of the 6019U-TR4 is handled through several programs. The server can be monitored by Intelligent Platform Management Interface 2.0 (IPMI 2.0), Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Supermicro Power Manager (SPM), Supermicro Update Manager (SUM), and Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 (SD5). SD5 functions with Windows and Linux operating systems. The program monitors system health information including CPU temperature, system voltages, and fan speed.
To support the most demanding workloads for virtualization, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and more, the Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TR4 has many flexible options. The system supports up to 24x DIMMs and 6TB of memory, plus 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports for high-performance. With support for 4x hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays configured for SATA, SAS, or NVMe drives, this server can meet all of your business needs.
