Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TRTP rack server holds two processors and is designed for virtualization, cloud computing, and more. The system features flexible storage, support for Intel Optane memory modules, and easy to use management tools.
The 1U platform is ideal for high-performance workloads. The Supermicro 6019U-TRTP supports dual Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each. The system also supports 24x memory module slots with a maximum of 6TB and four 3.5-inch drive bays. On the back of the chassis, you can find two 10G SFP+ Ethernet ports for better performance.
As part of the Ultra SuperServer family, this system supports a motherboard based on an Intel C621 chipset to support both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Your choice of both processors and memory will determine the data transfer speed. With up to 28 cores each and 70-205W TDP, second-generation Xeon Scalable CPUs offer the fastest and most memory with speeds of up to 2933MT/s. Gen 2 processors also support Intel Optane memory modules, something that Gen 1 doesn’t offer. First-generation CPUs can reach speeds up to 2666MT/s. Powering the system is a 750W redundant power supply.
A maximum of 6TB of memory is supported by 24x DIMM slots on the SuperServer 6019U-TRTP, with six memory channels per processor and two DIMM slots per channel. Choose from DDR4 Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory modules to outfit your system, but keep in mind that more power can be achieved with Intel Optane Data Center Persistent (DCPMM) memory modules using Gen 2 CPUs. Just like other Supermicro systems in this family, mixing memory modules of different types and speeds is not allowed. As stated in the performance section, the speed of the memory depends on which processor is used.
The Supermicro 6019U-TRTP supports up to four 3.5-inch hot-swap drive bays, which are all SATA drives, but can be configured for SAS or NVMe with the appropriate add-on card. The system also supports an optional dual or single M.2 SSD with up to 3TB of storage.
Four NVMe PCIe 3.0 slots are supported on the SuperServer 6019U-TRTP using RAID 0/1/5/10 through Intel VROC. Two slots can be configured with a full-height expansion card, while the other two can support a low-profile card. One of the slots can be dedicated to a double-width graphics card. For more storage, up to two M.2 solid state drives can each support PCIe or SATA. On the back of the chassis, next to two USB 3.0 ports, you will find two 10G SFP+ ports to support a faster network.
The Supermicro 6019U-TRTP is managed by SuperDoctor5 (SD5) and other programs through Windows and Linux operating systems. IT administrators can provide warnings when the system temperature, CPU temperatures, voltages and fan speeds have issues. The server can also be managed by Intelligent Platform Management Interface 2.0 (IPMI 2.0), Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Supermicro Power Manager (SPM), or Supermicro Update Manager (SUM).
The Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TRTP is capable of supporting high-performance workloads to accommodate your business needs. The 1U server has a multitude of memory and storage options, all supported by dual Gen 2 Intel Xeon Scalable processors. This flexible system can virtually manage any type of digital application, while keeping your mind at ease from issues that arise with the various management programs.
