Like the other platforms in this family, the 1U Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TRTP2 supports dual processors, up to 6TB of memory, and four 3.5-inch drive bays on the front of the system. With easy to use management tools, this server is designed for virtualization, cloud computing, and more! Please note that this system comes with a minimal configuration of two CPUs and four DIMMs.
The Supermicro 6019U-TRTP2 can be outfitted with two Intel Xeon Scalable processors, 24x DIMMs with 6TB of memory, and several networking options on the back of the system. With support for Intel Optane memory modules, this flexible 1U system is ideal for high-performance workloads.
Powered by a 750W redundant power supply, the system comes standard with dual first- or second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each. Each processor supports six memory channels with two slots per channel, for a total of 24x DDR4 memory module slots. Your choice of both processors and memory will determine the data transfer speed. With up to 70-205W TDP, second-generation Xeon Scalable CPUs offer the fastest and most memory with speeds of up to 2933MT/s. Gen 2 processors also support Intel Optane memory modules and up to 6TB of memory, but Gen 1 does not. First-generation CPUs can reach speeds up to 2666MT/s.
The SuperServer 6019U-TRTP2 supports a motherboard with an Intel C621 chipset. The system comes with six memory channels per processor and two DIMM slots per channel for a total of 24x DIMM slots. A maximum of 6TB of memory is supported when using DDR4 Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory modules, but keep in mind that more power can be achieved with Intel Optane Data Center Persistent (DCPMM) memory modules using second-generation Scalable processors.
Four hot-swap 3.5-inch storage bays in front of the Supermicro 6019U-TRTP2 support SATA drives natively, but can be configured for SAS or NVMe with an add-on card. Since the drives are hot-swappable, they can be rejected and replaced remotely using the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). Two Disk on Module (DOM) can be installed on the system motherboard to provide additional flash storage. The 6019U-TRTP2 also supports up to two M.2 solid state drives with up to 3TB of storage.
The SuperSever 6019U-TRTP2 offers additional storage using single or dual M.2 SSDs as well as four PCIe Gen3 slots. A double-width graphics card can fill one of the slots, next to a full-height expansion card and two other low-profile cards. In order to have full access to PCIe slots and onboard controllers, both processors must be installed. Network connectivity is provided by dual 10G SFP+ and dual 1GbE ports on the back of the chassis.
An Integrated Platform Management Interface 2.0 (IPMI) LAN port on the back of the platform provides management access. However, the system can also be managed by several other programs such as Supermicro Server Manager (SSM) and SuperDoctor5 (SD5). SuperDoctor5 provides health status and warnings via email when the system temperature, CPU temperatures, voltages and fan speeds have issues.
Designed for high-performance workloads, the 1U Supermicro SuperServer 6019U-TRTP2 features two Intel Xeon Scalable processors, plus up to 6TB of memory. Although there are four storage bays on the front of the system, the variety of storage options can accommodate your business demands while allowing IT administrators to use a range of networking connections for better performance.
